課程概述 |
Modern production systems such as automated factories and supply chains are complex systems with many interacting subsystems. In this course, we will discuss advanced operation concepts and analysis methodologies of such systems. The problem domains will focus on semiconductor wafer fabrication and supply chains. The following topics will be covered: theory of the firm, enterprise modeling, linear dynamic systems and optimal control, inventory theory, variation analysis, capacity planning and investment, and supply chain coordination. |
